Climate Solutions Should Not be Ignored

Scientists worked hard to give us solutions for the climate crisis

We can show our appreciation and reduce our use of plastics

It can’t hurt us when we stop polluting the air

It can’t hurt us when we pay attention to environmental care

Children were not raised with environmental protection awareness on their minds in the past

And now everything in the world is happening so very fast

There is high speed internet and trains

More toxins in the air and acid rain

It is time for us to build environmental protection awareness in a new and better way

So our children can look forward to seeing a brighter day

Some people say climate change does not require so much attention

It is not something we should even bother to mention

Are they saying we don’t need to care?

About the children’s life and the beautiful beaches out there

I hear the people who worry when the sea takes away more of the land

They really need to feel as if they will have someone to hold their hands

We all call this planet our home, we can’t say our homes won’t be threatened in the future

So let us tell the children that learning to protect the environment is just another great adventure

Since we want to ensure that their homes will not go under water

Let’s show that we really want their future to be filled with fun and laughter

If everyone on the planet could say

We can use solutions to send problems away

We could all work towards having a future that is bright

When we use solutions and decide to put up a fight

More Manufacturers will Say No to Plastic Packaging and yes to Environmental Care when we Decide that We Want to have Clean Water and Air

When we start refusing to buy so many products that are packaged in plastic

Manufacturers will understand that they need to make a change that is drastic

Juice was sold in biodegradable cartons before the manufacturers plans changed

And now that the plastic pollution problem is out of hand, packaging could be rearranged

If only consumers could support only the companies that are doing more to reduce pollution

These manufacturers would implement the solutions

There is a lot more we can do as consumers to reduce the problems we all face

We can shop in new ways and watch as some of our problems are erased

We are the ones who support these manufacturers with our money

They should be doing more to make our lives bright and sunny

Without our support all they would see is failure

It is time for them to help us to have a future that is secure

A Polluted environment is not good for the health of anyone on earth

It is time for us to ask ourselves what doing more to remain healthy is worth

If we continue supporting companies that are not interested in keeping us healthy

They will keep on caring less about us because they will always be wealthy

So many lives are devastated each year when these floods happen across the earth

It is time for us to think about what environmental protection is worth

There seems to be a chance that a slow down in human activity could make a difference

After the Pandemic and the lockdowns, things got better, we could do what we did again because it makes sense

Waiting for the pandemic to end so we can go back to living the way we did before

Will never help our children to have a future that is secure

We should build environmental protection awareness in a new and better way

As we tell the children how they can live to see a brighter day

Now that it is so easy to give them ebooks that are sold online

They can start believing that their future will be just fine

Waste and landfills not our favorite topic

The waste grows more because of the use of single-use-plastic

It is good to see that modern technology is helping to turn waste into energy

A lot more jobs are created and there was a development of a great new strategy

Using less fossil fuels can reduce our green house gas emissions over time

And after a while our energy bills might go down, for one month we might pay a dime

Changing the way waste is managed can truly transform our lives

When bills are reduced we will find new ways to strive

I believe they will want to protect the planet and have lives that are bright and sunny

So much can be done with the cash we spend on electricity bills

Sometimes we can’t get to save, so we can go out and experience the thrills

But with the number of waste to energy facilities increasing

There is hope that electricity bills will be decreasing

But with so many people who only care about increasing wealth, they only destroy

Cutting down trees and not replanting them and dumping waste into the Sea

When we should be thinking of the ways to be plastic free

Educating our children about these very important issues can cause us to see a change

And in the future they will find much better ways to manage

They will be reducing their Carbon footprint as they live in a sustainable way

As they use the climate solutions and expect to see a brighter day

If we should continue allowing our waste to get to the ocean floor

And the next generation comes along and pollutes the oceans even more

The future will be looking more grim

And the chances for the human race to survive will be slim

Hear the Earth’s Cry

If no one will say, let it be me

Let me replant a tree

Let me protect a bee

Let me go plastic free

Let it be me

Our earth will be too hot one day

If Global warming continues we’ll have a high price to pay

Where will we go when we want to run away

Life will be better for us if we change what we are doing today

If no one will say, let it be me

A destroyed future is what we will see

When we could decide to change what we are doing now

Maybe we could turn things around somehow

If we could simply wake up now

We can change the things we are doing somehow

Earth is the only home we can be sure of, every other planet out there have uncertainties

Should we only be worried about our own country and forget our responsibilities

We should want to hand over a paradise to the children one day

Yes! We should want them to live in a great way

Non-Biodegradable Waste becomes a huge pile after a while

When we only think about ease and money making, there are consequences to face

We have too much waste and if it is not properly managed it becomes a big disgrace

But if more recycling, reusing and reducing was being done there would be less air pollution

There is a problem and more folks simply need to use the solution

Manufacturers would try to make more biodegradable packaging if thought about protecting the environment

And try to reduce pollution so we can all live a life that is decent

The waste that is generated by populations is now polluting the land, water and air

For many years there was not attention given to environmental care

We will use less single-use-plastic and do more to keep our environment clean

When we build environmental protection awareness in a new way and go green

We show that we care about each other on the planet when we protect the environment

It should not be hard for us to change the way we live, when we make a commitment

When the environment is protected, water is clean

It would be good if more people would decide to go green

We would have no need to worry about microplastics getting into our food

We know plastic is toxic and having that happening can not be good

In Order For us to have a Green Clean Future we need to Change the Way we Educate

The children need to know what it means to go green

So they can begin keeping the environment clean

We might see less litter on the streets when they are aware

We should tell them more about the need for environmental care

Tell them about what happens when plastic get’s into the Sea

They can plan to make their own future bright

When they learn how to treat the environment just right

If we tell the children what it means to go green

When we ask them to turn off lights they won’t create a scene

They will help us to conserve and save a lot more

I believe they want to have a future that is secure

The children are the future we say

We should help them to prepare for it in a better way

Help them to be more creative and smart

You might like it when they turn waste into art

Questions about the Catastrophic Weather Events

Could it be true that leaders of some countries are causing the ice at the North Pole to melt because they want to earn from the buried treasure that is there?

So they won’t listen to anyone who talks about environmental care?

Will anyone be alive to enjoy the pay for the treasure they might find?

Wouldn’t it be better if we did all we could to have peace of mind?

It is truly heartbreaking to see the suffering after the displacement and loss

Leaders sometimes make bad decisions when they believe that they will always be the boss

Wealth without health is not what the people truly need

It is time for someone in authority to have more conversations with those who lead

Flooding, and all the other catastrophic weather events are hard to deal with, they make life harder for the poor

But the people who have more than enough, only keep on wanting more

How will we put an end to the madness?

These weather events keep on causing a lot of stress

If some could stop believing that they need to be richer than others

We could all live together like sisters and brothers

Life would be much better on the planet

We would live without thinking about regret
