That’s why we need to do something drastic
We need change in the way we manage our waste
We need to protect our health, let’s make haste
We need to quickly get different bins and put them in many places
Tell everyone how protecting the environment will help them to have smiles on their faces
Refuse the plastic packaging and demand biodegradable packaging material
You will want to spread the word about environmental protection , and stay away from denial
Clean air is important, let us protect our lungs so we won”t be sick

Or a very handsome man
Even if other persons don’t agree
Love will take away your insecurities and set you free

When we care too much about ego and pride
When we simply breathe in some fresh air
We are telling ourselves that we care
About all the things that will make our lives great
So we can find a way to forget resentment and hate

When you buy in bulk you save in many ways
You spend less time shopping, less money and you create less waste
When you have everything you need at home
You won’t buy the things you see when you roam
The large containers you get are easily reused in many ways
When the small containers pile up to be burned
In this life there is so much we can learn
You can find other things to do with the days
That you normally spend in supermarkets shopping
And you can do a lot with the money you’ll be saving
You can start buying the long lasting products in the beginning
And then you will save and see the number of things you buy for less start expanding
The rich get richer while the poor get poorer every day they say

And decide to put on a smile
As life can be a constant struggle at times
As people are always planning to commit crimes
If only they could stop and say
There has got to be a better way
This world would be a very peaceful place
And all we need is the plan to remove frowns from a faces
So relax and smile, if its only lasts for a while

Since respiratory problems are on the increase, let’s do more to reduce illness and pain
Our children are depending on us in every way
We should want them to see a brighter day

But we can still do more to protect
our health as no one likes being sick

Selfishness is tearing this world apart
It won’t allow some folks to have hope in their hearts
People are constantly taking what belongs to others
As they forget we are all sisters and brothers
On this planet where we all face the same problems everyday
We all should be helping each other to live in a better way
But selfishness dictates and wins too often
Selfishness is a hidden thief, it is not in the open
It fears the light of day
But it won’t help us to live in a great way
It takes happiness and joy
If we could find ways to recycle more of our waste, we would have a lot more things to share
And we would be showing just how much we care
About our environment and our children’s future
A lot of jobs would be created and our lives would be better
Job creation might reduce crime
So many folks would not be wasting time
And economies would grow a lot faster
We would also have less flooding and disasters
So let us do more for Mother Earth today
Soon we will all be living in a better way
