Parents will be spending less in stores for toys

For their little girls and boys

When the children learn how to make them

Children will learn how to be creative and kind

They will have a lot to give, so they won’t mind

When it is time for them to share what they made

And they will be getting ready for the days when they’ll be paid

Encourage creativity when children are growing

They will like solving problems, when they start knowing

They will want all the problems to disappear

Even when it is late in the day

You can still do things in a better way

Think about the changes you can make

And try avoiding the mistakes

Yes, even when the sun has gone

You can find a way to carry on

Great ideas are always hanging around

And there could be some opportunities to be found

Lets tell the children how they can make their future bright

Protect the Air, Land and Sea

If we won’t protect the air, the land and the sea

There will be no bright future for you and me

Smog, plastic pollution and toxic rivers and streams

Will leave us with no way to even have dreams

So for all the folks who only plan to make more money every day

They should start making plans in a different way

As life needs balance, or everything won’t be just fine

Problems affect everyone on the planet, we are all standing in line

Some are affected before others

So it makes no sense for us to say, why bother

As the problems we didn’t care about can be on our doorsteps one day

And we won’t be able to just send it away

So protect Mother Earth, treat her well

Don’t just think about all the things you can buy and sell

Allegations about people making money from the drought

Selling water and not helping others to work things out

Makes the problem harder to manage

Some people will never be satisfied with their wage

Climate change is closing down farms these days

People are trying to live in better ways

After a while there might be less food to eat

While there are a lot of unnecessary items selling on the streets

Let us hope that change will come soon

As there is not enough rain when there is a monsoon

Suffering increases when there is not enough water

There is no more fun, no more laughter

More should be done to store water when the rain falls

Government promised piped drinking water for all

There is a crisis here, more persons can show that they care
