And treated the small animals like they were not wanted

Not all actions

Gives us satisfaction

Meet the ones who have too much doubt

Everything falls apart

The broken can’t make a start

There is too much fear

It causes so much despair

So much pain and sadness

They only say that the world is in a mess

Desperation gets worse, when there is no understanding

Walls and fences, the answer to the security some folks are demanding

With more guns, bombs, and war

We won’t be reaching for the stars

With division and selfishness

We will settle for less
