If Children are not Told about the need for Environmental Protection Will there be Any Change?

If children treat the environment in the same way the adults do and the pollution problems continue

When they grow up how will they have an experience that is new

How will they find clean water if they don’t learn how to go green

And work towards having an environment that is clean

When children are aware of the need for environmental care

They will help to spread the word everywhere

There are children who are concerned about the ocean and the animals too

It is time for us to tell them what they can do

They will want to do more so they can reduce plastic use

They will help adults to recycle, reduce and reuse

But if they only learn from the adults who don’t care

They will keep on ignoring the need for environmental care

And this will cause the planet to be in a worse state as the days go by

They will only keep on contributing to problems while animals die

When they could be doing more to protect the water, the air and more

I think spreading the word about the importance of environmental protection is important and children will be willing to open new doors

So equip them with the information they need

Soon they will grow up and create green jobs for others, as they succeed

In a world that is heading towards having more plastic than fish in the sea

Change is needed for the children too, not just for you and me
