When children know what it means to go green
They can look forward to the day when the environment is clean
When they learn why they should reuse, recycle, reduce and repair
They will always be thinking about environmental care
When wasted food gets to landfills it emits greenhouse gases. Children can learn about these simple things and understand why they should change the way they eat if they are wasting food.
Children can learn to use reusable utensils, water bottles and containers and they will be happy to do their part and protect the environment when they know why they need to these things.
Cattle farming is causing a lot of Co2 to be emitted in the air. Eating less meat and increasing the amount of plant-based meals we eat is good for our health and good for the environment.

When we do composting, we send less food waste to the landfills to become greenhouse gases. Composting is good for the soil and the air. Children can learn about these things.
Secondhand clothes cost less and they can be fixed if anything is wrong with them. You will be saving money and the environment, when you buy them. Less waste will be going to landfills to be burned and you won’t be contributing to greenhouse gas emissions.
Shopping in supermarkets where you have an option to avoid using plastic bags for produce, rice, flour, cornmeal and other foods that are packaged for us in plastic can help us to protect the environment. When we support these supermarkets we are moving in the right direction.

You can get a good workout when you walk and you will be reducing air pollution. Now that they are working on reducing the price of the electric cars we can benefit from selling our (gas using)cars and start walking more.
The pumps they use to take water to our homes are using a lot of energy, and we will reduce our water bill when we use water consciously. Reducing water use is good for us in many ways. We will be showing our children how to develop good eco-habits when we use less water as well.
When you support this eco-friendly project you are doing something great
