I think the stars shine brighter at night

When we forget how to fuss and fight

When we decide to relax and unwind

And forget about being unkind

We only think about our great memories

Let it be free

From plastic and other debris

Oh can’t you see

That we have no where else to go

We shouldn’t act like we don’t know

That a clean environment is what we need

And then expect the fish to be free

From toxic chemicals and all the things that are bad

Do you ever think about it, and end up feeling sad?

Do you ever get mad when the oil gets in the water

Do you ever say they need to do better?

Or maybe you say it won’t affect us at all

We will always be standing ,we won’t fall

But is that a smart thing to say and do?

What if one day the sea is no longer blue

It turns into an ugly color that you don’t like to see

And there is no more sea food for you and me?

I won’t complain

About the rain

And say I need the sun

Because I want to have fun

You see without the rain

I wouldn’t be smiling again

When the flowers bloom

And remove the gloom

As the dreary

days are needed sometimes

And it is not a serious crime

To find something new to do

While I make it through

Because without the rain

Flowers wouldn’t bloom again

Life would be depressing

I know the rain is a blessing

So I won’t complain

About getting wet again

I’ll wear a smile and cover my head

I might even stay in my bed

And when the sun comes out

I’ll say I have no doubt

That the rain is very important

Even though I am not a plant

Just like snow flakes, feelings change

They are not so simple , they are strange

They should never be relied on at all

Like snow flakes they fall

After a while they can simply vanish
