With easier access to things we want to buy
We might shop without even asking ourselves why
Soon waste management might become a bigger problem still
I hope we won’t shop until we are unable to pay our bills
It is time for us to make plans to recycle, reuse, refuse, reduce and repair more
If we don’t we will be shopping constantly until we get poor
Protecting the environment has never been this important in the past
Things were not being produced as fast
It is important for us to be more aware these days
As we plan for a bright future in a better way
Burning waste and polluting the air, the underground water and more
Will never help us to have a future that is secure
We should be thinking of living in the best way possible
As the planet gave us beauty that is incredible
So as we introduce more technology to consumers we should make plans to go green too
Building environmental protection awareness should be about telling the children what they can do
The creatures who live on our planet have been suffering because of us for too long
So let us try to change the what we do, we cannot afford to keep on doing the things that are wrong
