Plastic is Important But

Plastic has been a very great material for us to use

But now it has become important for us to refuse

Refuse plastic straws and single use plastics

They pollute the soil and our food is getting toxic

Even though plastic is durable and protects our food in a great way

We can’t ignore the fact that it pollutes the environment in a terrible way

Use the reusable bags and show the big companies that change is needed now

If we don’t change what we do they will continue acting as though they don’t know how

To reuse and recycle the plastic they use for packaging

They will keep on saying nothing needs changing

Almost everything on the supermarket shelves are packaged in plastic that will remain on the earth for many years

And it seems as if the manufacturers don’t care

Who will think about the next generation

Who will think about reducing plastic pollution

We should all want the next generation to have a planet that is clean

We will see a change if we start telling the children how good it is for us to go green
