When we cut down trees and don’t replant
We are forgetting a fact that is important
We depend on trees to clean the air
So we should pay attention to environmental care
When we make non-biodegradable material and it can’t breakdown
After a while we end up with polluted air in many towns
Why we Have a Responsibility to Protect the Environment
We are the ones using toxic plastic that is in the air we breath, so we become ill
After that all we have is sadness and a huge bill
The earth can renew itself when we do our part
We have responsibilities and we need to make a new start
By refusing, repairing, recycling, reducing and reusing more
As we make great plans to have a future that is secure
Can the Earth Renew Itself?
There are too many people on the planet who believe environmental protection is not needed because the earth will renew itself
As they keep making things to sell they pollute the environment and only live to make things to put on a shelf
They won’t do a thing to change their plan and think about the future at all
Even though the warming of the earth and other problems could leave them with their backs against the wall
We have had enough proof that our actions should be changed, we all need to do our part
We can’t afford to keep on setting bad examples for the children, they need to be prepared to make a new start
The children are our future we say, so why can’t we give them a chance to live in a great way?
It is time for us all to wake up and understand that the earth needs protection so we can live to see a brighter day
Now it is easy for adults to encourage more children to join environmental clubs each day
They can order eco-friendly children’s books and show the children how to treat the earth in a better way
Earth Day is coming and there is a lot you can do this year
Tell the children you know about the need for environmental care
