It’s tough

When they say you’re not good enough

When they choose someone who has more

And simply close the door

But you can quickly move on

If you make a decision

To look at your strengths and gifts

And then give yourself a lift

Yes, self can be a great friend

Who will never say it is the end

So when life seems to be rough

Remember your strength is enough

To lift you up again

You can get over the pain
