If consequences were mentioned a lot
So many persons would not be in that bad spot
Wishing they had done things in a different way
Hoping that they will live to see that brighter day
But when it was all done
There was heartache and pain
Memories that causes sadness over and over again
If only we knew, we wouldn’t do
Sometimes we are told, but we say it isn’t true
But the consequences remain the same
