When beaches disappear
Because we just don’t care
I wonder what children will say
About the price they will pay
When the fish can’t be eaten again
Will we say we had nothing to gain
From producing so many things
The extra toys and the bling
That all end up in the dump one day
When we could be spending in a better way
We can spend on the things we really need
And then our children will follow our lead
And we will have less junk in the sea
And a better environment for you and me
Let’s do more for the environment today
