No Country is Doing What Scientists Recommend to Avoid the Worst

Some rich men are making preparations to send rockets to other planets

While Governments are not putting laws much in place to reduce Greenhouse Gas emission, as yet

Change is not something we enjoy doing

But more of us need to stop and check to see what is happening

The floods, longer and hotter summers, wild fires, hurricanes and other weather events are increasing

While the time for implementing solutions keep on decreasing

Since the youth are asking for change in the way we protect the environment

It would be good if more of our leaders could make commitments

The scientists recommendations are not that hard to implement

And we will benefit from the changes we make when we protect the environment

Life will be better for the farmers and us when the weather events are not as devastating

It is not good for us to keep on causing the earth to get warmer without thinking of the kind of future we are creating
