Before you react to a story like this which is being amped by the Environmentalist you seem to think so much of, you need to look at historical data about the Rain forest fires and who does what. Farmers are trying to put in crops and the jungle keeps taking over. Trust me on this, I live in the tropics and if you don’t beat it back the jungle takes over. The people in the country are the best to know what is needed not an environmentalist in a university pontificating on global warning which really isn’t a thing.
But, the trees keep people healthy, and air pollution is never good. global warming isn’t a thing ? Do you know about the hurricanes that are more powerful and taking more lives now? While they are going to places they never went to before? Global warming is real please look at what is happening in the Bahamas now

More violent compared to what. Longer drought compare to what. There isn’t enough green on this planet for you?
compared to the hurricanes we had before, did hurricanes go to New York before? Did they cause so much devastation even in New Orleans?
