We Can Have Health, Wealth and Everything in between When we Go Green ?

We should not wait until our backs are against the wall

To say having a clean environment can go along with having wealth and we want it all

We should not sacrifice one for the other

And we won’t be doing that when we see each other as sisters and brothers

People die and leave their wealth right here

It doesn’t make sense for us to live as if we don’t care

Polluting the air the land and the sea

As if we don’t know that the best things in life are free

There are so many things that are great about having an environment that is clean

We should all be saying it is time for us all to go green

Now that Covid-19 is causing so much financial stress

There should be more trash to cash projects out there to remove distress

Going green means creating sustainable jobs and reducing pollution

This happens when we stop adding to the problem and start using solutions

Protecting Mother Earth is the best thing for us to do

And we will be helping more people to rise and make it through

We just can’t afford to keep on adding to the pile of waste we have out there

As we watch some folks live a life of despair

This has been going on for far too long

It is time for us all to sing the same song

Green projects will cause us to have more to eat

And less hungry people out there on the street

And now that even the children can learn how to reduce, recycle and reuse

The better waste management system that will reduce poverty can be used
